Established in 1997, the Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the rural setting of the large metropolis of Karachi (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Sindh. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (PAF-KIET) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 5,000-5,999 students) coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. Karachi Institute of Economics and Technology (PAF-KIET) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
