About the university

Established in 2015, the National University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Rawalpindi (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Punjab. This institution also has branch campuses in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, Multan, Bahawalpur, Kharian, Wah Cant, Taxila and Sargodha. Officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan, National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Pakistani higher education institution. National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
